After years of working with clients through injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain, I realised that traditional rehab often fell short. People weren’t just looking for exercises — they needed a clear, structured process that addressed the root of their pain, re-trained their bodies, and built lasting strength.
That’s where ShiftMethod began.

My Story
I’m Danielle de Wet, a Biokineticist who has lived the journey I now help guide others through.
My background in Human Movement Science, Physiology, and Biokinetics, combined with my own experiences with sports injuries and chronic pain, shaped the way I see rehabilitation.
I know what it feels like to be sidelined by pain — and I also know the transformation that happens when you rebuild from the ground up.
In 2020, I started my own practice. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of people, from athletes to everyday individuals, who all had one thing in common: they wanted their bodies back.
ShiftMethod is the evolution of that journey — a method that goes deeper than symptom relief to create long-term change.
Because true rehabilitation isn’t about returning to who you were — it’s about discovering how strong, capable, and connected you can become.
